Government of A.P. agreed for sanction of scholarships and reimbursement of Tuition fees to all eligible minority students on saturation basis
The Annual Income limit enhanced to Rs.1.00 lakh per annum
Post Matric Scholarship and Reimbursement of Tuition Fee for Category ‘A’ convener quota students only in case of Professional Courses.
Full Fee reimbursement Scheme was introduced in 2008-09. Under this scheme scholarship & Reimbursement of Tuition Fee for eligible Minority students.
The rates of Scholarships for Post Matric Students under Student Managed Hostel category is Rs.250/- per month for 10 months for all courses.
cholarship for College Managed Hostel category for Diploma, Intermediate, Graduation courses @ Rs.400/- per month and from Post Graduation, Professional courses @ Rs. 525/- per month for a period of 10 months.
During the year 2008-09 1,20,934 students were extended scholarships amounting to Rs.2563.66 lakhs and Fee reimbursement of Rs. 10093.41 lakhs.
PRE MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP
Pre Matric Scholarship scheme was introduced in the year 2003-04.
The annual income limit enhanced to Rs.1.00 lakh per annum
The Scholarship is extended from Class VI to VIII @ Rs. 600/- per annum & Rs. 800/- per annum from Class IX to X.
During the year 2008-09 Scholarship extended to 1,90,546 students amounting to Rs. 1281.83 lakhs
